15+ yearsof hands-on ecommerce experience behind the agency

Our experience covers product ranges, promotions and the day-to-day work of running an online store. About our experience

Your current platform

Where are you moving from?

Your platform is the starting point. Your catalogue, content and apps determine what the move involves.

WooCommerce to Shopify

We review your catalogue and WordPress content, alongside the plugins you rely on. You’ll know which functions need a Shopify alternative and what content needs rebuilding.

Wix to Shopify

We check your product exports, pages and existing URLs. Then we work out what can transfer and what needs to be recreated in Shopify.

Squarespace to Shopify

We review your products and site content, then plan Shopify collections, navigation and pages. Existing layouts need to be adapted or rebuilt.

Your migration

What we cover

We check these areas with you, then confirm what is included before work starts.

Products and collections

Transfer the agreed products, variants and images. Check prices, stock and product details after import, then organise collections so customers can find the range.

Customers and past orders

Check which records can transfer and how customers will sign in. Existing customer passwords cannot be moved to Shopify.

Pages and store design

Set up an agreed Shopify theme for your products and brand. Rebuild the pages and navigation in scope, then check how they work on mobile.

URLs and search visibility

Map important old links to their new Shopify pages. Set up redirects where needed and check page titles, descriptions and internal links.

Payments, shipping and apps

Configure the agreed payment and delivery options. Check the functions you need from existing apps and identify suitable Shopify alternatives.

Testing and handover

Check product selection, cart and checkout before launch. Walk you through the day-to-day tasks you’ll use to manage the store.

Have subscriptions or custom integrations?

Tell us early. Reviews, loyalty schemes, gift cards and multilingual setups also need individual checks. Any custom development, new copywriting or ongoing support is scoped separately.

Not sure you need to move? Tell us what you want your current store to do better.

Shopify migration questions

Will moving to Shopify affect my Google rankings?

A move can affect rankings and traffic. We map important URLs, set up redirects where needed and check key page details. These steps reduce avoidable problems; they cannot guarantee unchanged rankings.

Can you move all of my products, customers and orders?

It depends on your current platform, exports and the tools involved. We confirm what can transfer before starting. Existing passwords cannot be moved, so we agree how customers will sign in. Data held in apps needs separate checks.

Can I keep my domain name?

Usually, yes. Your domain can stay with its current provider and connect to Shopify. We check access and business email records before making changes.

Will my current store stay open during the build?

Usually. We can prepare Shopify while the existing store is trading, then coordinate the final orders, stock update and domain change. A short pause may be needed during the switch.

How long does a Shopify migration take?

The catalogue, content, data quality and integrations all affect timing. Access and approvals matter too. We agree a schedule once we’ve reviewed your requirements.

Will my current design and apps transfer?

Not directly. We choose a supported Shopify theme and assess alternatives for the apps or plugins you use. Any custom development or complex integration needs a separate scope and may require a specialist.

Do I need to book a Store Review first?

No. Send a migration enquiry directly. The Ecommerce Store Review is a separate service for a structured assessment of your current store.
